A Social Impact Initiative to Empower Under-Served Communities Through Tech Education
Spinsoft University (often called Spinsoft Academy) was started as a social impact initiative by Spinsoft with a clear purpose: to empower young people from under-served and low-income communities by giving them the skills and opportunities to build careers in the IT and software industry — especially those who cannot afford conventional college education.
Our initiative addresses critical gaps in opportunity and access to quality tech education.
Many students from rural or economically disadvantaged backgrounds are unable to pursue higher education after high school due to financial constraints. The academy provides them with industry-relevant software and professional skills training at zero financial cost.
Instead of focusing on traditional academic degrees, Spinsoft University emphasizes hands-on software training, problem-solving, communication, and life skills so students become job-ready and attractive to employers in the tech industry.
The program honors STS Prasad (Siripurapu Taraka Subramanya Prasad), a former Senior Vice President of Engineering at Spinsoft, for whom the software academy was a deeply meaningful project.
Spinsoft aims to take tech to all by creating a model that can be shared widely and scaled through partnerships — ensuring technology careers aren't limited to those with traditional academic credentials or resources.
Everything we offer is designed to remove barriers and create opportunities.
Free, no-fee training in software skills, English, and professional habits.
Monthly stipend to support learners while they train full-time.
Industry-aligned curriculum designed to prepare students for real jobs.
Stipend-supported, performance-based placement opportunities after the program.
Overall, the academy was started not just to teach coding, but to transform lives, break cycles of generational poverty, and open doors into the tech workforce for people who might otherwise be overlooked.
